Can you use A+D ZINC OXIDE CREAM ON A 2ND DEGREE BURN?
Why all the spaces?

You don't use any sort of creams or ointments on a burn. Rinse with cold water for 15 minutes immediately after the burn to cool the area down, then cover with a dressing (lint free) for a day or so.Can you use A+D ZINC OXIDE CREAM ON A 2ND DEGREE BURN?
Yes, but only as follow-up care after the burn has been treated by a doctor. A+D is sometimes used to help ';minor'; burns heal, but it is NOT a ';fist aid'; treatment.
My son had first second and third degree burns. the doctor gave us bacitracin for the first degree burns and sulfer silvadene for the second degree burns. put the cream on lightly and wrap the area.
Using creams hold the heat from the burn into the skin, and won't let the wound cool properly.
try to stay away from creams usually. See a doctor and they can tell you whats best to use
